Know your customs risk

See customs risk before customs does.

GTassure checks each Bill of Entry before you file it. It checks again after clearance. Each problem comes with proof and a next step.

Two products, one record

Check before you file. Check again after you clear.

You sign the declaration. If it is wrong, you must answer for it. GTassure checks it at both ends.

Before filing

Pre-Clearance

We check your draft entry: HS code, value, origin, licences and your past entries.

  • GTassure reads any shipment paper you have, for example the checklist, invoice, packing list and transport document.
  • Each problem shows its proof and a way to fix it.
  • It costs least to fix a mistake before filing.
After clearance

Post-Clearance

We check your cleared entries again. We show the duty at risk in rupees.

  • GTassure reads cleared Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills and the papers with them.
  • The biggest amounts come first.
  • You find and fix your own mistakes before customs asks.

What you can do with GTassure

These are real jobs at the customs desk. Choose who you are.

Before filing · Importers, brokers

Check a draft Bill of Entry with the shipment papers

Your broker sends the checklist. Someone must compare each line with the invoice, packing list, bill of lading and other papers.

GTassureIt reads all the papers you send, of any kind. It compares each field, for example quantity, unit, value, currency, Incoterm, freight, origin and item name.

ResultYou get a short list of differences. Each one shows the line in both papers.

Before filing · Importers, brokers

Check the HS code and the duty

Sometimes the HS code is not the same as last time. Sometimes the duty rate is not the rate in the tariff on that day.

GTassureIt checks the code with the item name and your past entries. Then it checks basic duty, surcharge, cess and IGST for that code on that date.

ResultYou see the right rate and the document it comes from. You also see what changes if the code is wrong.

Before filing · Importers, brokers

Use an exemption or FTA rate safely

The entry uses a notification and a serial number. Is it valid on this date? Does it cover this item? Is its condition met?

GTassureIt checks the notification, the serial number and the condition. It asks for the certificate of origin when you use a trade agreement rate.

ResultYou get a list of claims with no proof. You also see the benefits you can use but did not.

Before filing · Importers

Find a unit price that looks wrong

The price is much lower than your past purchases. Customs may ask questions and hold the shipment.

GTassureIt compares the unit price with your past entries for the same item and supplier.

ResultYou see the difference in percent and the entries we compared. You also see which papers to keep ready.

After clearance · Importers

Check last year's entries before an audit

Customs can check your old entries. You have limited time to fix your own mistakes.

GTassureIt runs the same checks on your cleared Bills of Entry. It shows each problem in rupees.

ResultYou see duty paid short, duty paid extra, and interest. The list is sorted by amount and by last date.

After clearance · Importers

Find duty you paid but did not need to pay

A lower rate was open to you on that day, but you paid the full rate.

GTassureIt compares each cleared item with the exemptions and trade agreement rates valid on its date.

ResultYou get a list of entries where you could pay less. Each one shows its notification.

After clearance · Exporters, brokers

Check drawback and RoDTEP on each Shipping Bill

The benefit depends on the right serial number, rate and cap on the export date. A wrong serial number costs you money.

GTassureIt compares the drawback and RoDTEP on the Shipping Bill with the schedule valid on its date.

ResultYou get a list of Shipping Bills where the amount is different. You see how much it differs.

Every job · Customs brokers

Manage all your clients' jobs in one place

Checklists go to the importer and come back many times. It is hard to see what changed and what is waiting.

GTassureIt follows each job from the first papers to filing. It shows what changed each time. It keeps each client's work separate.

ResultYou get one list. It shows which jobs are waiting, for whom, and since when.

Every job · Everyone

Keep proof for each decision

If customs questions an entry, proof decides the result. You must find the papers fast.

GTassureIt links each entry to its papers. It records how each problem was closed, by whom, and why.

ResultYou get a clear record. You can give it to an auditor, entry by entry.

GTassure helps your customs desk and your broker. It does not replace expert advice. The declaration is still yours.

How it works

One problem, from start to finish

Each problem follows the same four steps. Nothing is lost.

1

The flag

A check fails on a draft or a cleared entry.

The unit price is 31% lower than usual for this HS code.

2

The proof

You see what we compared.

The last six invoices from this supplier had a higher price.

3

The decision

A named person fixes the entry or says why not.

The supplier gave a discount and sent a credit note. The value is accepted.

4

The record

The result stays with the entry.

The flag is closed, with an owner and notes. We keep this in the supplier's history.

These numbers are samples. They are not real data.

Who it is for

Made for the people who sign the declaration

Importers

See your risk for each entry, supplier and product.

  • You get fewer questions, re-checks and delays.
  • You pay the right duty: not more, not less.
  • You find mistakes early, when they are cheap to fix.

Customs brokers

Give each client a checked entry and a clear record.

  • Each client has a separate view.
  • You see each checklist round and what changed.
  • You handle more jobs without checking by eye.

Exporters

See what each Shipping Bill should earn.

  • We check drawback and RoDTEP by date.
  • We show the differences in rupees.
  • We keep the history for the next shipment.
Where the rules come from

Rules from official sources, with dates

A rate is right only for a day. GTassure keeps the rule for the date of each entry, and the document it comes from.

  • We use the Customs Tariff and the Finance Acts that change it.
  • We use CBIC notifications for exemptions, trade agreements, cess and anti-dumping duty.
  • We use the DGFT schedules for RoDTEP, and the drawback schedule.
  • We add each new rule with its date. We never delete the old rule.
